A question about Thai food in a Thai temple

  • h

Today the food section of the Los Angeles Times had its article about Thai food in a Southland Thai temple.

Is there any counterpart in the Bay Area? Although many post on this board have covered Thai food, none of them mentioned a local temple, I recall.

  1. I think it's gone, but the Thai temple near the
Berkeley South Branch library used to serve
a lunch on the weekends. It was cheap and very
good -- we had friends who went every week!
(I mean the lunch is gone, temple still there.)

    1. Sorry to hear the lunches might have been discontinued. They might still have food on special days, so it's worth checking out.

Here's a link to an earlier discussion.

Thanks. I missed reading those posts.

      2. Zoics!
No more Thai temple lunch on Sundays?
We were planning on going this Sunday?
Is it really not there any more?

          Hey Sarah!

Not to worry. I just called the temple and they are open Sunday.
