Will be in Richmond Saturday the 7th of October. Want to eat where there is a strong, classical, wine list.
By classical I mean, Burgundy, Barolo, Bordeaux. Any suggestions?

I'm not a huge fan of Wine Spectator, but it's questions like this that their website was born to answer. See link below

Ugh! The Wine Dictator. Anyway, the Frog and the Redneck is a remarkable restaurant, New American cooking with a fine reverence for local ingredients, and a pretty amazing list of mostly American wines.

I recently ate at the Frog and the Redneck for the first time. I am from Baltimore. His crabcake recipe which I first found published in Gourmet magazines in 1994 (May or June) is the best anywhere. I had a couple of good things at the Frog, but a couple of items were SEVERELY over salted: tuna carpaccio and a soup. I understand his fondness for sea salt, but this was WAY too much. I very much like the attitude of the place.
