What a quirky little place this is!! I've been there twice and today was a special treat. Wonderful German food and a deli counter where you can buy wurst, red cabbage and sauerkraut to go (all homemade). The reason that today was so neat was that an accordian player was present to serenade the clientele with all sorts of German folk songs. Imported beer is available. I enjoyed a Spaten dark with my pork roast (superb), spaetzle, and red cabbage. Lunch is only served from Thursday-Saturday but this place is a great find.

My wife and I just went recently for our first visit, and just came back from our 2nd visit. This place is way above average. I can repeat all of your comments above, and say it is still true. These people make the best fresh and smoked sausages, chops, sandwich meats and schnitzel I think I ever had in my 60 years! Their bread is great. They have a great selection of imported German draft and bottled beer. The live music (see schedule) was a treat. We took home a selection of meats and bread, both visits, and will go back.
