We're going to catch a flick at the gigantic movie theatre as well. We are not wealthy people, but we do enjoy good food. The only thing I can think of that is even marginally passable there is Marrones, which is a very casual pasta place, or Creeds. If you are willing to drive -- I'd say Tratorria San Nicola in Berwyn, Teresa's in Wayne, or Margaret Kuo's, also in Wayne. Overcooked pasta, crowded dining room, uninspired and bland appeitzers. If you're traveling to Berwyn, then I would recommend Meredith's; although many on this board said they've had spotty experiences there. I, on the other hand, have always been pleased with the food/service. I highly recommend Teresa's in Wayne. But be forewarned, they don't take reservations. (will definitely have to come back for that + margaritas out on the cute tables outside on the patio) equally wonderful tomato soup (twas a special; not on the regular menu). not that it matters, but i found it interesting... the place has an estrogen-dominated feel to it, cute young male servers hamming it up for the older women, rustic feminine decorations, and the lunch crowd was about 95% women. i'll definitely be back, and often. I imagine they will have a splendid V Day menu. As a matter of fact they are doing something special because they had flyers on the table the other week but I did not pay attention because I know I will not be going out for V Day.
