St. Helena Area, inexpensive restaurant recommendations

I am going to be in St. Helena for an extended period, eating most meals out. I would greatly appreciate recommendations for casual, inexpensive restaurants in the area, from Calistoga to Napa. Thanks in advance

Taylor's Automatic Refresher (933 Main St. , St. Helena) can feed you well. They always have good soup specials. They are a hamburger & fries type place, but there is plenty more on the menu, check the link. Outdoor seating with heaters- best in good weather.

Also, Bosko's Trattoria, (1364 Lincoln Ave, Calistoga) is cheap and good. The food is Italian Californian, in the $6 to $12 range. They have a wood fired oven which puts out really nice pizza and panini ($8). I think they are www.boskos.com .

When I asked for “inexpensive” restaurants. I meant “not expensive”, not The French Laundry, Tra Vigne, or Terra. Otherwise called “moderate” in price.
So far have been to Tomatina’s three times ( veggie pizza, braised lamb shank with palenta, and radicchio risotto) – all excellent, thanks to the recommendations from chowhound.
Please give me more ideas since I may get into a rut

It's been a few years since I've been there, but I seem to recall Tra Vigne actual being pretty reasonably priced. Compared to The French Laundry, it's a bargain!

bridge, "inexpensive reataurants and St. Helena" is an oxymoron. You can get delicious things at the Cantinetta next to Tra Vigne and eat them there or take home, the portions are large and the prices reasonable.
