Senegalese Restaurants in SF/East Bay?

I plan on spending the upcoming academic year in Senegal, and have been doing some research on its culture (specifically food and music). I would like to sample some quality Senegalese food, and I imagine something has to exist here in SF.
Although I'm currently in LA on vacation, I've come up with one place in LA. A quick search on Google came up with Chez Gnagna Koty's (530 Ninth Avenue (Hell's Kitchen)), which was reviewed briefly in LA Weekly.
Anyone know anything about this place or anywhere else either here or in LA?
There's also a place in Oakland (49th and Telegraph, part of Telegraph Aves's African restaurant row) called Kuer Samba. I wasn't impressed by my meal there, but a family member swears by it, so perhaps I just caught them on an off day.
This same family member mentioned another West African restaurant in Oakland, but I don't remember the name. I'll try to find it.
I know of two restaurants serving West African food in the East Bay. I haven't eaten at either of them so I can't give any recommendations.
The first is a little place called Taste of Africa on Adeline right next to Ashby BART. The East Bay Express reviewed it favorably a few years back.
The other is a Nigerian restaurant called Museum Kitchen in Downtown Oakland. It's a place that's always piqued my curiosity - it's a cafe serving American standards by day but by night it's a Nigerian restaurant.

Oops! Where were you searching? Chez Gnagna Koty (and Hell's Kitchen) are in Manhattan--NYC!--not in LA.
