Looking for restaurant near Philadelphia Airport
There's a bar on Island Avenue across from an Eckerd (on the right heading from the airport) called Taste of Asia or something like that. Good home-style Thai food, but there is no non-smoking section. An even better choice is L'Angolo (reservations essential) which is just across the Penrose Ave bridge, at 1415 Porter.
re: Susan H
Hello, does anyone know whether L'Angolo is something feasible for a meal in about an hour to an hour and a half? Is the service speedy enough for that? We'd love to go, but won't have much time to burn between arriving in Philly and having to double-back to the airport to pick up another traveler.
