Gotta break out of my steady standby of neat Italian BYOB's tomorrow night.

Lobster, crab or shrimp is calling to me in a big way.

What's reliable, top-notch, and comes with ready parking? The parking is important because my friend cannot walk very far, and I would have to walk alone from any remote parking spots.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Sansom Street Oyster House on 15 and Sansom....great Oysters and shrimp...Crab

We also love Dimitri's on 3rd street (Catherine I think) For great fresh grilled fish and octopus

Also.......for great Lobsters and raw seafood platters, we like Cap grille or Palm.

Effies on pine is another great find for fresh grilled seafood.....

Downey's. A group of us are heading for the Lobster special there in a few weeks. And there meter parking nearby - usually easy on a Monday.

At $16.84 for a two pound lobster, beautifully steamed, with baked potato and corn on the cob this was great.

Should have stopped there. Waiter informed us that the prices for shrimp cocktail were wrong on the menu (old tattered menu!), and that shrimp were $3.50 each, not a cocktail for $7.99. Lobster bisque had no taste of lobster whatsoever. I had called ahead to ask if a lobster could be de-shelled in the kitchen, if so ordered. Was told yes. But, when we ordered it, the waiter came back to apologize, that the chef said there would be a $5. charge for taking it out of the shell. The waiter seemed embarassed by our reaction, and naughty me, I did mention being a correspondent for Chowhounds. Waiter got the $5 charge waived, and got me 6 hot shrimp in sauce for $6.99 instead of the rake off initially proposed. But, the damage was done: tacky, tacky, tacky.
