Decor is delightful--we sat around a balcony railing above bar; lovely plants all around. Like being in a tropical greenhouse. Lunch menu is quite extensive; most entrees hovering around $10. We started with the cream of wild mushroom soup, which was pure bliss. A large bowl, rich flavor, large slices of porcini and other mushrooms. My friend had a Mexican dish filled with chicken and cheese; I was in the mood for a hamburger, but could have chosen a more challenging entree. No room for desert, which was a pity, given how lavish they looked. Nice service; good coffee; place was packed at lunchtime. Recession? Not here.
