Chinese banquet in Peninsula/South Bay

Does anybody know of a good chinese banquet place located on the Peninsula or Southbay? Private rooms accomodating 30-40 would be preferrable but not necessary. Also, the place does not need to serve traditional banquet type food as long as it is good food. I know of Mings, Fook Yuen, Hong Kong flower lounge but have not experienced banquets there. Also wondering if there are lesser know places that serve great food.

Would appreciate any recommendations and your comments on your experiences at these places. Thanks!

I had dinner with ten people in a small private dining room last night at Dynasty Seafood on Story and Mclaughlin in San Jose. This is the second time I've been there. Assorted appetizers were delicious, included duck and jelly fish. Smoked sea bass was excellent. We had a beef dish that wasn't dazzling, but all the seafood was great. The mango pudding dessert was great. I'm not a big dessert person, but I enjoyed that both times I was there. I didn't do any of the ordering, so I'm clueless about what the whole menu looks like or what things cost. I'm also not sure if they have special rooms for really big gatherings, but it's worth a call.

Joy Luck Place is a very good Cantonese upscale restaurant in Cupertino. I believe they have a private room.
