      Um, folks, theonion.com is IMO one of the most revered websites devoted to satire. Check the headlines on their home page and you'll see what I mean.

      Not that there aren't people like those depicted in the article.

        oops, I guess I misunderstood. But you know, I do know people like that in real life. I guess that's why I didn't find the article to be unreasonable at all.

        Umm, Wendy, while I agree with you that some people aren't open to new things, bear in mind "The Onion" is a satirical publication.
