In a thread about vietnamese food, Chef Stefano said:

"By the way, have you tried Korean food. There are several in Philly that are very good."

don't tease; tell, tell: which ones are very good?

I agree! Do tell...I was just saying to my husband that Korean food was one of the ethnic delights we didn't have a lot of experience with, and where could we find out where the best places are. I've heard that there are several good restaurants in Northeast Philly, but don't know anything other than that.

PLEASE...don't leave your fellow Chowhounds acting like Pavlov's dogs with no place to go!

Try Woo Rae Kwan in Upper Darby or August Moon in Norristown for exceptional Korean food. I've also heard Shilla in the Northeast is good but i can't speak from personal experience about it.
