April's Kitchen update

I'd been wondering what had happened to the April's kitchen truck outside the post office of late. I've been by and not seen it tbere a number of times. Today I went to mail some stuff and, lo and behold, there was the truck. I stopped by and decided I love April's even more than I realized!!!
It's been more than 3 months since I last ate there, but the first thing was the proprietor asked how I've been and apologized that he had already sold out of catfish (I love catfish, we've talked about it a number of times, this was not just generic "customer service," he rememberd exactly who I was and what I like). I got some wings, they were delicious (and cheap--10 wings as a "sandwich", i.e. no sides, for $2). He says he hasn't been there much lately because he had a son in December and is spending time with him. Also said he's trying to win customers back now after the hiatus.
If you haven't eaten there adn have the chance, I really think you should. Go on a Friday at lunch and you might get catfish. Wed. he makes pork ribs, thurs. beef ribs, or at least that's what the sign says, though you never really know.
As always, there were plentiful "tastes." I'm not sold on his deserts, but he had me try the pumpkin bread and it was pretty tasty.
