Special Occasion Thanksgiving in the Poconos?

We've never eaten a Thanksgiving out, but this year is my mother-in-law's 80th birthday, too. The children and grandchildren will be travelling from NY for the occasion, and rather than having her cook we want to take her out. Any suggestions? They live in the Albrightsville/Blakeslee area, but we could travel a bit. Many thanks.

You may also want to try the Skytop Lodge, 800-617-2389, http://www.skytop.com .

I don't know if this will get to you in time to actually be of use (I'm only just now reading your posting), but you might try Crescent Lodge in Paradise Valley: 595-7486.

Leigh, thanks for the tip. The restaurant still does not have a menu set for Thanksgiving, so perhaps you might be able to tell me a little bit about the place. What kind of food do they offer? Price range? Facility? Thanks so much for your help.
