suggestion for down town Los Gatos?
- Wendy Lai
Any ideas for good yet reasonable dining in downtown Los Gatos? We have a couple of hours to kill, so something sit down with good food and good service.
Maybe this reply is too late to be of any use, but Cafe Marcella and Tapestry are both quite nice. Some of my friends like Pigalle, but I find it a little overbearing -- old fashioned French cuisine and always at least one wild game entree. It's tasty, but I invariably wake up the next day feeling a little gluey. Whatever you do, stay away from Valeriano's. It's horribly overpriced, and the last time I was there I had the impression the waiter thought it was a terrible burden to serve us.
