Also there are a few locations in the DC area of Rita's Ices. I haven't been there yet but there is a location in DC and Silver Spring. Has anyone been to Rita's? What's it like? They also have frozen custard, "misto" (ital. ice & frozen custard shake) & gelati. We like Carmen's too, and on the 8th of every month they discount their Italian ices & gelati (layers of vanilla frozen yogurt & Ital. ice) - I think half-price. Prices are low anyway. But both are not as intese as gelatos, just so you know. I've tried very good gelatos at Sam's in Rockville at Ritchie Plaza, and Magruder's in Cleveland Park. Haven't tried Dolecezza's (formerly Icy Icee) in Georgetown yet... I think they have some in the freezer though.
