Go Cardinals: toasted (okay, fried) ravioli

As a displaced St. Louisan looking forward to celebrating the Cardinals' trip to the playoffs, I'm looking for some Hill-style toasted ravioli.

The supermarkets don't seem very helpful. The very cool website foodcraver.com has them but they're part of a big package. I've made them with regular ravioli and homemade breadcrumbs but they're just not the same.

Any ideas?

  1. Last year we had a taste of Missouri and the overnighted Imo's turned out very well. I'm looking forward to any tips on the raviolis.

    1. Don't know of any place in the area that actually serves them.

But you can order pre-packaged frozen toasted ravioli from www.stlpizza.com. Pretty good although not the best I've had, they are best when fried, rather than baked as the package suggests.

The site also has all the fixin's to make Imo's pizzas at home. I documented my making some pizzas from there at the link below.

      1. Let's Go Cards! I'm hoping to find some good St.Louie style eats for the games as well...
