We'll be in Baltimore next Monday-Tuesday and we are planning to go to Lexington Market. Besides Faidley's what's good there? Thanks for your help.

You could do worse than to eat at one of the delis. There are two near each other. I've had a corned beef and pastrami sandwhich from one of them, which was maybe half as good as what you might get in new york. At $4.00. It was also well short of half the price from what I'd pay in NY though! My favorite place in lexington market is the Bergers bakery stand. Best piece of carrot cake I've ever had!

The Woody Allen (a nine-inch tall hot pastrami and corned beef on rye) at the Stage Deli on 7th Ave is upwards of 12 bucks. Pretty much worth it, though. Meanwhile back at the Lex, besides Faidley's crabcakes and rawbar is Polock Johnny's (foot-long super Polish), Park's Fried Chicken (gizzards and hearts) and many other goodies like cheesesteaks and pit beef and even a small liquor store if you want to bump your lemonade with a tot of bourbon. My wife refers to the Lex as The Scarf-A-Rama. Great way to spend the afternoon.

I believe there is a place in Lekington Market with homemade chocolates, but I haven't been. Maybe someone else can chime in to say if they are worthwhile.

It's directly across the aisle from Polock Johnny's. Can't remember the name, but the dark chocolate turtles are killer.
