Cenans Bakery in Vienna?

My office just snarfed down a delicious cake from Cenan's bakery in Vienna. The fellow who brought the cake thinks the bakery is Turkish. This was a round white cake, layering airy white cake layers with a very light, mostly whipped cream filling. It was decorated with kiwis and strawberries. My co-worker described it as a nice family owned bakery.

Has anyone else been?

  1. Cenan's is definitely a Turkish bakery. It also happens to be the first place from which I purchased the then-exotic ciabatta.

I haven't been in a while, but I wish they were around the corner from Chez W.

Go for lunch!! I used to work in the area and miss their crusty bread and delicious sandwiches. My favorite is called Cenan's favorite (watercress, artichokes, fresh herbs, lemon juice, tomato, olives, peppers), oh and the other veggie one is good too...it has babagaush, gorgonzola and roasted veggies. The place gets packed during weekday typical lunch hours. Rightfully so.
