Anybody stuck on Route 7 heading towards Ashburn or Leesburg ever tried Pho Royal?

I think it is near Cascades Parkway, but way before the new Harris Teeter or the big monster church.

Yeah. I've been there and was not too impress with it. If you in the Sterling, Herndon, Chantilly area then go to Pho Bac at the Sullyfield Shopping center, corner of Centreville road and RT 50. I think it's better there.

I've been there. It's okay. I'll be back, because sometimes I work near there, and I will give some details after another visit. I had pho tai nam and cha gio (fried spring rolls) and it was very nicely presented but not really special to eat. I would not recommend the cha gio. The meat in the pho seemed overcooked but overall the place was miles ahead of the nearby chain-restaurant hell. Anybody have the word on Taste of Viet Nam? It's supposed to be near there but I have not found it yet.

Yeah, I too have ventured out into the food waistland of the Cascade parkway / Ashburn area. Tried the other Viet or Pho places. There are two in the same shopping center.

Both make you consider the drive all the way to Falls Church, or Arlington. And Im not all that picky. Just needed a Pho Fix. Their stuff was just hot water. And expensive hot water at that.

Just my 2 Cents worth.
