As someone who does not own a car, I occasionally rent one on the weekends for one project or another. I have a car today and will again in the near future. I like a variety of different foods and am hoping to build a list of places to visit. I regularly do G&M in Linthicum and sometimes pick a Korean place in Annandale, but I am hoping to expand my horizons a bit. Anyone out there in the same (rented) boat?

Eden Center in Falls Church. More Vietnamese restaurants than you can shake a stick at, unless you have uncommonly good stamina.

China Star a bit East of Fairfax City.

If you cook, Wegmans and Super-H in Fairfax would be appropriate destinations, too.

Thanks! That is so funny- We did go to the Eden Center and had AWESOME Bahn Cuon (sp.?) at Thang Long (right corridor of the main center a few shops in). We also went to one of the delis and picked up trays of summer rolls and spring rolls for a party we were cooking for. Delicious and SO reasonable. --Eats
