Nice - Lupo's Italian Chop House (301) 277-6225. Highly recommended. Right on Rt. 1 in downtown College Park.

More Casual - Franklin's (301) 927-2740
Also highly recommended. Also on Rt. 1, (5121 Baltimore Ave.) but a little further south (in Hyattsville).

Both have great food and can easily accomodate 15-20 people.

Pasta Plus is better; Lupo's is a better fit for Rachel's parameters.

I personally find both of them to be underwhelming.

You could easily host a group that large at Gah-Rahm, a Korean restaurant just a couple of miles north in Beltsville.

For the casual dinner, I would also recommend Seven Seas, a Chinese restaurant at 8503 Baltimore Ave/Route 1. They are able to accommodate large groups and have a long menu with good vegetarian options. They also have an additional Chinese menu, which you have to ask for, which has some interesting dishes on it (anything with yellow leeks is good, as is the chicken in "very spicy sauce"). They also have a sushi bar and a Japanese menu, but I've never tried anything from it. Tel: 301-345-5807
