We go out to dinner occasionally, leaving from their store after they close for the evening. Any recommendations for that area? We've discovered some favorites in Columbia and down toward Olney, but there's plenty of local territory that might hold a hidden gem or two that we've not discovered. Just off Route 32 in "downtown" Sykesville is Baldwin's, which is consistently good. Up Route 144 in Lisbon is the Country Kettle Cafe, a locals' place, which has country cooking and sometimes more ambitious specials.
