We look forward to Sweetwater's Pumpkin Ale every year. It comes with this great pumpkin seed, sugar and spice rimmer - yum! We actually gave them a call today about it. Their Merrifield location had it on tap starting today, and the Centreville location will have itstarting Monday. Not sure about where downtown might have some on tap. Enjoy!

I believe cap city brewing served a pumpkin beer, with cinnamon and sugar on the rim. You can also get dogfish head, as well as at least two other pumpkin beers at whole foods (at least in arlington).

Dogfish Brewing out of Delaware makes a great one which you should be able to find in bottles at various places such as Chevy Chase Liquor Store or possibly on tap at either Brickskeller or their sister place RFD. Or you might check Founders Brewpub in Old Town to see if Bill Madden is making a Pumpkin. Cheers.
