CK sent out a message this morning that they have received their license. I called, and was told that they will indeed be serving starting this eve. They will offer corkage ($15) and a small list of well-selected wines and beers which will rotate (storage space being limited).

Just got a follow up e-mail message from CK. Unfortunately, DC bureaucracy screws it up again. Tho they were approved, apparently there is some piece of paper missing and the in spite of several hours of trying the license was not issued today after all. So we'll have to wait a bit longer. Sorry for the mis-information.

Typical DC fiasco!

Didn't Gillian Clark say she wanted to showcase her food without alcohol serving as a distraction, or something like that?
