Matso Ball Soup - will travel

I may be moving up to Monterey within the next few weeks and wanted to get recommendations of places that serve great matso ball soup. I indulge in the matso ball soup at Jerry's Deli down here in L.A. these days. SF/Peninsula/SJ areas on down to Monterey preferred.

Thanks!

Pick up some at Eastcoastwest before you leave San Francisco. 1723 Polk. Only good matso balls in the BA. Just opened. Try the ruggalach. No. Try the chocolate cake. No have an egg cream. Heck, just go hungry.

Can't wait to hear your report, JB. My visit to 2nd Ave. Deli in NY was most unsatisfactory. The folks on the Manhattan board who recommended the matzoh ball soup and corned beef there have no taste.

I cannot imagine good matzah-ball soup in a restaurant! Learn to make your own. Worth it and really not hard.
