I will be in Oakland and San Francisco next week and I would like some suggestions for freshly prepared seafood to munch on that won't break the bank. Thanks!

Swan Oyster Depot on Polk St. in SF. Lunch only, no dinner served. Sit at marble counter and eat fresh shell fish and chowder w/ sourdough bread. It's also a fish market.

PJ's Oysterbed for a restaurant. Or pier 29 (Flicka McGorrin's place) Chinatown or the Saturday farmers' market at Alamaney for the product.

Not Pier 29--Go to Pier 23. Also, her OTHER place (no seafood to speak of) is Sweeties, on Francisco, down the street from Albono's.
