Does anyone have suggestions of nice places to eat in Bodega Bay. I am especially interested in retaurants that serve dinner.

Thanks for your help!

  1. Miles north of Bodega Bay, in Jenner, overlooking the mouth of the Russian River is River's End. Great sunsets, dinner, and just a short-ish drive north past many beaches at which one can stop.
Also, just before hwy one continues to Jenner, by the bridge over the Russian River is Sizzling Tandoor. It was very good to my limited Indian food palate two years ago. Fish at Lucas Wharf and The Tides are both very fresh. Order simply. Reports of good meals at the Duck Club have been overheard, but no first-mouth experience by me.

I would like to second the choice of River's End for fine dining in Jenner. The town is located at the mouth of the Russian River, and the views from the restaurant are very nice. Seals sun on the sand bar below, our sunset was magnificent as well. The food is very well prepared, beautifully presented. For better than I expected, but a very pleasant surprise. With four in our party, we tried all the top entrees without a single disappointment. The venison was superb! Would make a nice romantic dinner spot after a drive dwon the coast.

    2. Try the open to the public Bodega Bay Golf Course.
Great views ,service and moderate prices.
Much better than some of the touristy dumps that are for the.... birds.
