Roberto Donna Grilling . . .

Roberto Donna is serving panini with grilled chicken kabobs, sausage and babyback ribs on the sidewalk in front of Galileo for $5 -- good stuff. First day I have seen it, it sounded like they might do it again.

Tell me this is true! If so, one of the best/funniest things I've heard all week. Anybody confirm it or if they'll do it again?

No joke. The sandwich was simple and good. Tasty sausage with a little mustard on a nice piece of bread with lettuce and tomato. Quite a bargain at $5.

Roberto seemed a bit surprised by the amount of people and I thought I heard something about being more prepared tomorrow.

I'm definitely there. Do we have a secret Chowhound hand-signal or bark to identify other hounds?

            1. re: Spade

Oh, don't worry, Hounds can identify one another by scent alone: We'll be the ones who smell like pee (or stinky tofu).

(chin-scratchers: see threads above (on Bob's 66) and below (on Full Kee))

according to his chat on the Washington Post site a few days back, this will be a full time (I think lunch only) affair.

        2. Kegs of beer and a plastic bracelet? Kidding.

          How was it?
