Soft shell crabs

The season is coming to a close so I'm trying to eat as much soft shell crab as I can. I've had these things at Cafe Monk, Lalime's, for breakfast at 8AM at the Saturday Farmers' Market in SF, and I've fried them up myself. Anyone else had particularly good ones?

  1. I got a pair of them about a month ago at Meetinghouse, fried and drizzled with a thin, aioli-like sauce. Very juicy, but the liquids took away a bit of the crispess from the frying.
