Just stopped by the Eastern Market branch of Murky Coffee today and had what was probably the best cup of espresso I've ever had on this side of the Atlantic. They use Mayorga "Suave" Espresso--and suave it was. Very smooth and sweet.

Capitol Hill dwellers are lucky to have the place.

P.S. Eastern Market was an absolute madhouse with huge lines of people waiting for turkeys. Love the collard greens and slaw at the Market Lunch. Not a bad oyster sandwich and NC-style BBQ sandwich, either.

WE pre-ordered our turkey, thankfully, and still had to wait 45 minutes yesterday. I never thought they printed so much business.

That's crazy--those must be good turkeys.

Luckily my SO is cooking the main course and his tradition is pork loin (no wait at Canales), not the big bird.
