We're headed up to Anderson Valley for a picnic at Husch Vineyards in a few weeks. We usually stop for lunch at Ravenous in Healdsburg on the way up. But Sunday lunch on the way home hasn't been lucky for us. Any suggestions?

And on another note - anyone tried Acre Cafe in Healdsburg? They were dinner only last year, so we haven't had a chance to try them yet.

  1. One place we head to often for Sunday lunch is Wappo Cafe/Bistro in Calistoga. I believe they stop serving at 2:30. The outside garden/patio is relaxing, the menu extremely eclectic & the portions plenty for two on each item. Their Nicoise Ahi Tuna Sandwich & the Grilled Eggplant-Goat Cheese Sandwich are outstanding, as is the Mezze Plate, the Duck Carnitas & much more. We always have a hard time deciding. The wines-by-the-glass are also awesome. . .lots of unique choices. They even have a jazz quitarist on some Sundays, not all. I'd reccommend a reservation. You won't be disappointed. 1. Acre closed their operation recently in Healdsburg, and Ravenouus took over the space. Lunch only so far at the original Ravenous, Dinner and drinks and backyard at Ravenous on Center Street.
