Vaccaro's in Silver Spring update

  • k

Here’s the skinny on Vaccaro’s: They do sell cannoli and tiramisu retail. The cannoli are $10/dozen for mini and $16/dozen for large. Chocolate dipped shells are $3 extra. The cream comes separate in a disposable bag. Shells can be purchased alone for $5 mini / $6 large. A dozen is the minimum cannoli order. They sell whole Tiramisu cakes and mini cakes by the dozen.

They’re open Mon – Fri from 7:30 to 5:00 on Brookeville Rd between Ga. Ave and the DC 101tower. (301) 587-8700.

Thanks shellymck for steering me in the right direction.

  1. Do they sell any individual pastries?

    1. I didn't see the original question, but there's also a Vaccaro's at 2020 Penn Ave NW that DOES sell individual pastries.....

The Vaccaro's on Penn. Ave, like the one in Union Station, is an outpost of the Bakery in Baltimore's Little Italy.

This place (same name but not related) mostly sells to restaurants and distributors but you can walk in and buy. I had both the regular and chocolate filling and both were excellent. They also gave me a couple of sample individual tiramisu and I liked them a lot as they weren't too 'mocha-ey'
