Was at montgomery mall today, and ran across Tea Neck Court...a bubble tea shop downstairs. The bubble tea was actually very good. I got my usual, black tea (cold w/pearls), no milk. A bit sweet (which is fine) and the bubbles were firm (which is the way I like them.) The tea itself had a good flavor. I didn't try a flavor...although kumquat was tempting. The people were very nice. They shops been there 6 months.

So, now I have 2 favs, Tenren (Rockville) and Tea Neck Court. Not an I-cream fan.

I tend to head to i-cream more often than not because it's open later than Ten Ren, is a little cheaper, they have ice cream as an option (with a couple exotic flavors thrown in), and frequent purchase "cards" for tea shakes & ice cream.
My 6-year old enjoys bubble tea shakes too.

Altho Ten Ren has a lot of different loose teas to buy & pretty tea sets.

But thanks for the notice of the Monkey Mall place - I'll check that out.
(I still can't get into calling it Westfield Shoppingtown!)

I like the pearls better at I-cream (then tenren) bit just dont like the tea at all, so I don't go there. Tenren and that "Monkey Mall" place have better tea. :)
