Asian Thai Noodles

This is a new restaurant. From the name, you might think it specializes in noodles, but it does not. The restaurant offers a moderate variety of all sorts of thai dishes. There was, however, one noodle dish, which was rice noodles with dried shrimp, squid, ground chicken, and several savory flavorings that looked special (note that it's on the regular menu, but not on the take out menu).
I went there and ordered a take out pad thai. The place is very pretty and the waitresses are in richly colored thai outfits. They offered me hot tea while I waited - very thoughtful. The pad thai was very good, although it came with a lemon wedge; lime is more appropriate. I'll go back and check out other dishes; as other chowhounds chimed, noodles are a different art form and chowhounds should not use them as a litmus test for the entire menu. Prices are moderate, $5.99 for the pad thai. They are open late, until midnight sunday-thursday; until 1 am friday and sat. That is convenient, because many SF restaurants away from downtown turn the lights off by 9:30pm. They are between 47th and 48th avenue, at 4621 lincoln way, 2 blocks away from the ocean - about as far west as you can go in San Francisco. Parking was a bit more challenging than I would expect, however you'll probably always find parking within several blocks.
