Does anyone know where I could find the fresh pandan leaves? It is mostly used in Thai cooking.
Thank you.

You might try the Alemany Farmer's Market (Saturdays only). There's a stall on the left hand side from the main entrance near the crab lady that has a good selection of fresh Thai herbs. I got fresh saw leaves (like cilantro) there last weekend.

There is a list of Thai markets in the Bay Area on Kasma's website. I think it is www.thaifoodandtravel.com

I visited the two in the tenderloin and they were great markets, I was not looking for pandan leaves, but they had so many fresh things, even tumeric root, and many leaves, esp the place on Eddy.
