Need Help on a Eastern Shore/DE

I'm headed from DC to Millsboro, DE (Middle of the state, on the way to Bethany Beach) this weekend for the World Championship Punkin Chunkin. Somewhere on the Eastern Shore along this route, there is a very large restaraunt that serves "home-style" food (chili, fried fish, pancakes, etc.). I was only there once but love the place. Problem is, I can't remember its name or any unique geographic markers (it is the Eastern Shore). I know this is a silly request short on details, but the place seemed large enough and popular enough that hounds that do the DC to Atlantic Ocean drive the the summer might be able to help out. Anyone have any details?

    1. Jimmy's Grille in Bridgeville maybe?
or the former Southern Grille near Ellendale? I think it changed its name...

jimmys in bridgeville is what you are probably looking for. down home food, and reasonable prices.

the southern grille has been closed for two years now, the site is now an office building.

          • Holly's? On the left, eastbound, on Rte 50, not too far after the Bay Bridge. Well-signed. Awesome milkshakes as well as good home-cooked food.

              1. Any place in Rehoboth you can recommend? One nice dinner Friday night, one more casual after the Chunk dinner Saturday. Two people don't eat seafood, one loves seafood, and the other eats anything not moving too fast... Thanks!

for a "nice" dinner you might like sydney's...i've liked everything i've had there, and the music is good. i've also been pleased with the couple of meals we've had at victoria's (which is VERY nifty during the christmas holidays, btw, especially with a window seat during a snowstorm). i wish wheaton's hadn't folded...

casual, well....cafe sole(or is it soleil? anyway, it's on baltimore st.) does great sandwiches but i've never had dinner there. if you mean VERY casual (just a noisy bar with tables) sir guy's jammin' burger is good (DON'T get the shepherd's pie!!!) and stony lonen does a good job with fish in my experience....the bar at chili billy'
s is fun, food's spotty....and my brother, who lived in california for years & is picky about mexican, likes la tolteca out on the highway near the roadhouse...

Blue Moon, Chili Billy's, Corner Cupboard, Harris Crab House (Kent Narrows)...

                      2. I'm pretty sure the place is Jimmy's. From such a pathetic description, I was amazed at the responses. In addition to getting the name and location of Jimmy's, I now have several other new places I'll have to try this weekend. Thanks to everyone that played guess what restaurant with me.
