Lunch in Baltimore

Folks,
Lived here most of my life and spent much of that time hunting down dinner spots in B'more and beyond. Lunch is another beast and I've got little clue. Anyone out there have suggestions for a lunch that conforms to the chowhound ethic?

A few suggestions here... Sylvan Cafe on Preston St. and Dougherty's Irish Pub on Chase St. (close to the Meyerhoff)
Sylvan makes their own icecream!! And Dougherty's has possibly the best burgers I have ever had.. They also have really good homemade soups on special every day. The potato cheese is especially yummy.

Welcome to the board, GFB, and we look forward to hearing your chowhound experiences!

Stephen, there was a pretty intensive discussion on lunch places in Baltimore a couple of weeks back. If you click on the link below, you'll see it. Or you can use your browser search capacity to find it.
