Looking for good steakhouse, not too fancy

  • t

My friends and I are looking to get a good steak either downtown or Bethesda. We do not want to get dressed up (i.e. no ties for us), but we want to go to a place better than Outback Steahouse. Any recommendations?

  1. I don't think you have to dress up for Ruth's Chrison Connecticut Ave. but you will have to peel offsome cash. The last time I ate there it was nearly$400 for four people. Very good steak, though. TheDelmonico is my favorite.

    1. Les Halles at 12th and Pennsylvania is pretty good and moderately priced, plus they have some nice outdoor seating.

Agreed! Les Halles has great steaks, a very amiable atmosphere, AND they are cigar-friendly, which is a an important but often overlooked grand finale to a great steak dinner.
