Moving to Crystal City (Arlington)

Any suggestions for exceptional cuisine will be greatly appreciated...
not sure if anything around crystal city can be called "exceptional" and depends on what you're into. 23rd street has a strip of restaurants, italian, thai, chinese, afghani, vietnamese, mexican, sports bar, etc. Saigon Crystal is very good. there's also a legal sea foods and ruth's chris steakhouse. you'll be right next door to pentagon city which has the lebanese taverna, thaiphoon, and saigon saigon as well as champps sports bar and sine, an irish pub. exceptional haute cuisine it's not, but at least there are options.
I've read some great reviews on Chesapeake Grill at the Hyatt. wondering if chowhounds can attest to that.
You can eat a different kind of food almost every day of the week around the Crystal City/Pentagon City area AND at a decent price. Kabob Palace on South Eads is great, there are a lot of good "cheap eats" along Columbia Pike and on Mt Vernon Ave just a short drive (or bike ride) away. I recently discovered a new favorite called Thai Square on Columbia Pike. It is not too expensive, the food is wonderful and the service is very nice... What kind of food are you looking for though? There are a few new chains in the area with predictable chain food, but they are usually pretty good as well. Baja Fresh in the new Pentagon Row is always packed (the line moves, but it just goes to show how much people like it). It's a chain, but much better than the other places they just stuck down there.
Sawatdees in Arlington has exceptional Thai; Four Corners Irish does justice to Irish dishes; great rack of lamb too. I travel there several times a year on business, so these opinions are based on multiple visits.
