A&J is a great choice. What date/time do you have in mind?

As a member of the group that showed up for dimsum that day, I can second Bob's call on a repeat performance. It was very nice to meet some of the other posters face to face and use fingers for manipulating chopsticks rather than typing. I'm all for another outing.

Hi, Alicia: Yes, a few of us did get together at Fortune for some good dim sum. A couple of folks got waylaid by a car emergency, and Mrs. W. arrived late because of a canine emergency (which turned out ok), but we had some good dim sum. Fortune maintained its streak of bringing out something I've never seen on any of our previous visits; this visit's item was something called chestnut cake. It's a square of sweet custard with small pieces of water chestnut mixed in. It's pretty sweet, so best eaten at the end of the meal with the pineapple buns and the multi-colored jello. I would definitely get it again.

In short, a typical visit to Fortune.

We definitely hope for more NOVA outings in the future.

OK - As I wrote this I don't know what the hours are but I can look into it and post. What about Sunday afternoon - like 6 -ish to have and easy time getting seated, etc. What about maybe the 23rd?

6pm on 3/23 works for me.

So is it Saturday or Sunday? Saturday works for me better...Alicia de Larrocha is playing at the National Gallery on Sunday the 24th. But since it will difficult to get in, I might opt for the sure thing of an A&J outing.

                    Let me know.

March 23rd is a Saturday. Do you mean Sunday, March 24th at 6 p.m.? I can make it on Sunday but not Saturday.
