Has anyone been to the Charleston in the last few months? I had a spectacular meal 6 months ago and am scared to be disappointed!
We ate there last month on a Saturday night and enjoyed it very much. We did think, however, that for the prices they charge - which exceed nearly every restaurant here in DC and most in NYC, as well -- the food and service should be world class. They weren't: but they were both very good indeed. And the place was packed. So clearly they weren't charging any more than the market would bear, at least that night. Cheers.
Is this Charleston in Baltimore we`re talking about?I`ve eaten here several times in the last year-3 to be exact,and I don`t find the prices all that bad.And I am not what you would call "well heeled".I`m a sous chef at an area rest. that is way more pricey for what you get.(It will remain unnamed)Chef Wolf does an incredible job and never fails to pack us full of low country fair.Eat all you want,stay away from the wine list to save.
