Cruising north on El Camino Real in Redwood City friday night I noticed a neon British flag on a storefront on the west side of the street. A big sign in the window said "BRITISH FOOD". This was a couple blocks south of Howard Ave. which is a few blocks south of the well-known British pub. What's the word on this place?

    I'll ask around the office...

    1. I was there about 3 years ago, so don't know if it's still the same. I recall that they had a pretty good selection of British groceries: Bisto, PG Tips tea bags, Heinz Salad Creme, Weetabix, sweets (Aero bars, Maltesers, Jelly Babies, etc.), frozen stuff like sausage rolls. It's also good for newspapers, magazines, tea accessories. Enjoy... Pepe C.

Interesting, I don't know that much about British food stuffs. Something to file away for the next time a chowhound has a longing for blighty.
