Has anyone had a chance to try the new Lebanese Taverna at Pentagon Row? Is it as good as the original? I was thinking about it for this weekend...

  1. I went a few weeks ago. I had the grilled lamb-chicken-beef combination and it was outstanding. I have not been to the other locations, but I would defintely return based on that experience. Service and ambiance there was very nice. The only negative is that the kitchen appeared to be having a problem making one of the bread appetizers (Khack?) which was unavailable and thus, disappointing.

The one in Congressional Plaza is quite good too. I wish I could remember the name of the dish I had, but it was sumptuous. Grilled lamb w/ yogurt, pignoli nuts & toasted pita. Not at all what I expected when I stopped in for a quick bite in the shopping plaza.
