Cocktails and Views?

I'm looking for a bar in D.C. with great views where I can take out-of-town guests for pre/post-dinner cocktails (exceptional food isn't a must). My favorite rooftop bar, Hotel Washington, is closed for the season. Any reccommendations?
The Key Bridge Marriott has a restaurant on the top floor with the same kind of views as Hotel Washington. Also the Watergate recently opened a rooftop lounge, but I'm not sure if it is seasonal.
This is not a good city for bars with views. Other than the ones mentioned, I would propose a slightly different approach. Try the new bar at the Oval Room for a cocktail and walk you guests through Lafayette Park on the way. They'll feel the D.C. Scene plainly and the proximity (and fabulous bar) may make up for the lack of a skyline.
The Views is a standard hotel bar and Sequoia can be loud and not terribly inviting. I'd go for atmosphere instead.
