As a beer nut, I have become a big fan of Sissons. In addition to a great tap selection of their own beers and a good microbrew selection, they feature a cask conditioned (hand pumped, naturally carbonated) beer every Monday. It's always different and usually very good. The bartenders know beer inside and out. I ate there for the first time last week and wanted to point out a couple of menu standouts. The Mussels are amazing, so is a Crab Rarebit appetizer. Our server told us that they just got a new chef and although it doesnt sound like they are going back to being a great place for Cajun, there were some pretty interesting looking specials. They did a great job on a tuna special with wasabi mashed potatoes in particular. This place is under new ownership and looks to be on the up and up.
