Has anyone seen brussel sprouts still on the stalk? Monterey Market? Berkeley Bowl??

I saw them at Berkeley Bowl on my last visit a few weeks ago. I know you can get them at farmers' markets in SF (Alemany, Ferry Plaza), but I haven't been to East Bay markets.

Saw them today at Berkeley Bowl (along with many other goodies).

Saw them being harvested in a field on Hwy 1 just north of Año Nuevo State Park on Wednesday - should be in your market by now. (g)

My sister has a great recipe that makes even the most avowed sprouts hater melt - lots of butter, maple syrup, toasted pecans and red grapes.

        Mmmm, please share the recipe...

We planted our own with the romantic notion we would harvest in time for Christmas dinner. Um, maybe Valentine's Day instead?

I made the now-legendary Brussles a la Moutarde for Christmas which were quite the hit.

Sorry, forgot to ask my sister when I saw her on Monday. Will before V-Day. (g)
