Sustainably raised, free-range, local meat?
Hi all,
I was wondering if any of you know of a good source for sustainably raised, humanely slaughtered, free-range, organically fed meat in or near New Hampshire?
My brother is looking to change his eating habits to be more compassionate and healthy. Plus, it's tastier!
Thanks in advance!

I've used Brookfield Farm in Walpole, NH for beef. You can call them at 603-445-5105, they don't have a website. For chicken, turkey & pork I would use Winrose Farm out of Greenfield, NH

In Greenland, Kellibrook Farm raises pigs and chickens using all natural food, no growth hormones, etc. They are about two miles from the Stratham border, on the right when you're going south on 33. There's a "farmstand open" sign near the road, and no other markings.
They've got whole and half chickens, different cuts of pork, the best bacon I've ever eaten, and the best eggs I've ever had.

In Warner on Rt 103 East there is a great farm called Yankee Farmers Market. They feature their own home-raised buffalo meat which us much more nutritious than beef, as well as other organic and natural products such as poultry, ostrich, pork, deer, and elk. You can even see the buffalo at the farm! Prices are reasonable and quality is high. We buy there when we are down visiting relatives in Warner. Check them out at
