L'Escale - as about as good and as expensive as Greenwich gets. Great food, very chic-chic and ultra expensive. Not downtown G but has a nice view of a small inlet. Speacial occassion sort of place.
Gaia - downtown G, very good, not as forml as L'Escale but on the top ten list in G. Some think size of dishes is too small and most served in a crock. Interesting presentations.
Baang - I love this place. Way off the beaten path almost on Stamford on route 1 (sorry but near McDonalds). A Wolfgang Puck China Grill type setting. Open kitchen, asian fusion, fun and loud. I go there with friends and colleagues and evereyone says "Wow, did not know this place was here." Way casual.
