        <content>I'm going to be in Bennington VT this weekend and want to do some good cooking and eating - any thoughts on where I should go to get good, quality, meats/cheeses/seafood/other ingredients?

      <content>You can find some decent local cheese at Spice and Nice in town.  They also carry Misty Knoll chicken and turkey, but it is frozen.  They carry a small amount of produce, but the store is very, very tiny.
 
In the winter months, good produce in town is hard to find, I've found.
 
I like the bacon at Henry's Market, but I buy 99% of my meat in Williamstown at either the Coop or at Green River Farm.</content>
